Small complex on the Valdera hills, Pisa REF: CJF01

Small complex in need of restoration, in Palaia, on the Valdera hills. 

Passed the iron gate, the private country road leads us to the ancient farmhouse. 

The well-restored barn has a large open space area with fireplace and various openings that provide extraordinary brightness, fit-in kitchen with Carrara marble tops, two bathrooms and bedroom for a total surface of around 100sq m. 

Two sides of the barn are shaded by porches overlooking the surrounding hills. 

Nearby also a brick bread oven and short paths lead to the woodland and to a field of olive trees. 

If we proceed on the private road that we left to reach the annex, flanked by young cypresses and a olive grove with about 400 plants, we can get to the farmhouse of about 260sq m: a former farmhouse with typical features such as barbacans, bread oven, loggias and the external staircase. 

Once used as bed and brekafast, it boasts an independent studio on the ground floor, consisting of a single room with kitchenette and bathroom. 

On the ground floor there are also two apartments, each consisting of kitchen / dining room, bathroom and spacious bedroom. 

On the first floor, accessible by an exterior staircase with covered loggia, there is the owner's house, with double sitting room with brick arch that divides the dining area from the kitchen and three bedrooms, each with en suite bathroom. 

The farmhouse, restored some years ago, has beamed ceilings, terracotta tiled floors, airy rooms and well-lit: time and carelessness, unfortunately, require some renovation work, including the large pool to be replaced. The land of about 8,000 sq m is characterized mainly by an olive grove, woodland and arable land.
